Meet the Eloise women’s crochet slipper pattern. Lots of viscual detail with a two tone body and complimenting braid accent in the front.

This pattern works up quickly and is available in four sizes. Video tutorial to help guide you through some of the steps.

Pattern is written in US Terms.
US Terms:
Hdc = half double crochet
Hdcblo= half double crochet back loop only
Sc2tg= single crochet two together
sc3tg= single crochet three together
B= back section
F= front section
Using color one perform step 1.
Step 1:
Rounds 1-5 Make the sole see links to size above.
Round 6: Ch 1, hdcblo around. Cut yarn and pull through loop and secure. Weave in or work tail in with next round.

Uppers
Step 2:
Round 1B:

Using color 1, Work back section of slipper as follows: Mark stitches (shown above) on both sides as follows:
From back center stitch count up on both sides
Size Small: 17 sts
Size Medium: 18 sts
Size Large: 19 sts
Size XLarge: 21 sts
Insert yarn at the mark on the side that has the wrong side facing you (sole side down that will touch the floor directly)
Attach yarn with a slipknot and chain one. Work half double crochet in same stitch and hdc around back of sole to next stitch marker. Ch 1, turn.
Round 2B- 5B : Repeat round 1B.
Round 6B: hdc working a sc2tg at 4 ( 4, 6,6) stitch, center heel stitch and 5 (5,7,7) th stitch from end of round. Ch 1 turn.
Round 7B-9B: Hdc around, ch 1. Turn. After 9th round cut yarn and secure end.

Round 2B- 5B : Repeat round 1B.
Round 6B: hdc working a sc2tg at 4 ( 4, 6,6) stitch, center heel stitch and 5 (5,7,7) th stitch from end of round. Ch 1 turn.
Round 7B-9B: Hdc around, ch 1. Turn. After 9th round cut yarn and secure end.

Front section:
Insert second color at start of round.
Round 1F: Ch 1, hdc around front to other side. Ch 1 then complete the following:
Mark center stitch, then count 6 stitches on either side and mark them as shown in image .

Round 2F: hdc, working sc3tg at each side marked (not center marker that is there for reference), replacing marker in stitch after 3 are worked together.
Round 3F-6F Repeat round 2F, and at the end of this sequence of rounds you should be at a point where the two sides will join and make a single center point. Replace second sc3tg marker as the center stitch as shown in video.
Round 7F -9F: hdc and you will will have a single center sc3tg.
Using a tapestry needle double threaded with color 1 yarn work small back and forth stitches to bring sides together. Secure and weave in ends.
Accent. Cut a 36” length of each color yarn and secure ends with a triple knot so it’s a bit bulky to avoid pushing through opposite side. See video how to work the stitches and finishing.
Finishing rows: Round 1: insert color 1 at top of heel center stitch and ch 1. SC around working sc2tg at heel and points shown below then slip to join round

Round 2. ch 1 sc around.
Cut yarn and weave in ends.
