This is a basic sole you can use for any type of bootie or slipper upper. Women’s US 5/6 Euro 38-39 in this post. Adjustment for wide and extra wide are noted at end of pattern.

Chain 26.
Round 1: Work 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc 14, hdc 5, dc 4, 4 dc in last ch. Do not turn. Work as in a round so you will go down unworked side. Pick up two strands to prevent base seam from having a gap. dc 4, hdc 5, sc 14, then work 2 sc in last ch (will have first 2 sc from start of round). Slip stitch to join round . 54 sts.
Round 2: Ch 1. Work 2 hdc in each of the first two stitches. hdc 2, sc 15, hdc 2, dc 4 , 2 dc in next st, 2 hdc in each of the next 2 sts , 2 dc in next st, dc 4, hdc 2, sc 15, hdc 3, 2 hdc in each of the next 2 sts, slip stitch to join. 62 sts
Round 3: Ch 1, 2 hdc in each of the first two sts , hdc 5, sc 11, hdc 3, dc 7, 2 dc in each of the next 2 sts , dc 1, 2 dc in each of next 2, dc 7, hdc 3, sc 11, hdc 5, work 2 hdc in each of next 3 sts. Slip to join round. 70 sts
Round 4: Ch 1, work 2 hdc in each of the first four sts, hdc 20, dc 6, 2 dc in each of the next 4, dc 4, 2 dc in each of the next 4 sts, dc 6, hdc 20, 2 hdc in each of next 2 sts , hdc in last two sts. Slip stitch to join round. 84 sts.
Round 5: sc around.
For wide width I work a hdc round after row 5, for extra wide work 2 hdc rows then continue onto the upper pattern.
