Crochet a fresh modern tank top

If you’re looking for a crochet tank top with style this is for you. I love this top so much I have made it in three colors!

I made my first one (and the video tutorial for some of the tricky bits) in 2020. A two tone tank halter hybrid. I find that style of neckline to be classic and modern all at once and of course, elegant.

The bodice stitch works up quickly. You have the option to make it in three lengths.

I used natural fibers in all my Verity tanks to keep me cool in summer. There are so many natural and affordable fiber yarns now it is a warm weather lovers dream .

No longer are synthetic yarns our main option. Tencel, lyocel, cotton, bamboo and linen are readily available at our favorite yarn stores and online shops. This thrills me because I live in a warm climate.

 

Of course I made an orange one (I use orange more than any other color) out of Lion Brand coboo yarn and the two tone is Lion Brand Truboo. My third was made with paintbox cotton dk in melon sorbet. I have a video review of truboo yarn here.
