Do you know what linked crochet stitches are? If you don’t this post and modern farmhouse dishtowel pattern will get you in the know quickly!
If your taste is the popular farmhouse decor this crochet towel pattern may suit your design beautifully.
Linked crochet stitches are a method that joins two stitches for texture or for support. If you have worked with drapey yarns that droop you know. Linked stitches provide support so the design holds its shape.
Linked crochet stitches also give a different texture as shown in the video and in this pattern.
This towel uses two stitches to create the texture. Linked single crochet and regular single crochet.

The tricky part with linked stitches is that they “lean” and can cause the project to slant at the edges if you are alternating a linked row with a regular stitch row. I have fixed that with this two row repeat with some special stitching at the start and end of the rows.

I designed knit and crochet project trackers! Keep track of your cardigan pattern with this tracker.
This is the large print version for tired eyes. So much easier than using apps, scraps of paper or a plain notebook.
Three project sizes, a handy ruler and hook guide inside the cover and plenty of room for notes in each pattern.

I have had bad eyesight since age 18 so large print is a godsend when you can’t see apps and dark yarn, let alone going from one to the other on a crochet-a-thon during a Netflix binge.
