The wedding pillow crochet cushion cover pattern
It is here at last, a matching pillow to go with my popular crochet wedding blanket pattern.
So many of you have had the same comments about the pattern, you love love LOVE crocheting it and it makes crochet fun again. No slog to get to the end, but you rather enjoy the process of making the project. I really could not receive a better compliment from a fellow maker.
You also tell me you are making more than one (I am on my fourth as of the date of this posting). It’s a great crochet wedding gift idea and now a full set with the addition of a coordinating pillow.
The crochet wedding pillow cover is for an 18″ pillow insert, whereas you can customize the blanket size. The pillow is a set size.

I used I Love This Yarn in Linen a beautiful timeless shade. Another favorite I used in the coastal afghan with twisted fringe, big twist in soft gray. A lovely gray taupe shade.
These are both affordable yarns and with pillow insert prices so low nowadays (finally something that isn’t sky high pricing!) this is beautiful gift that won’t break that bank.
Don’t miss my tips for softening acrylic yarn so your value yarn feels like a million bucks!
In this video I talk about how to make your cover fit your pillow so it looks full and stuffed vs. sad and flat. I also cover it in this post about crochet pillow sizing.
Skill level for this crochet pillow cover pattern
The wedding series is for a confident experienced beginner. There is a video tutorial for all the stitches however for a very new crocheter this project will be overwhelming. Once you have the basics mastered (see what is your crochet skill level) you can expand your repertoire with this design.
