I used anti pilling dk weight yarn for drape and a great look wash after wash.
The Manhattan Cardigan
Chunky crochet with rolled collar, statement cuffs, seamless pockets and a no stretch stitch that won’t sag out of shape. This is a pattern for an intermediate skill level. Customize length and size to create your go – to piece all fall and winter long.
For this pattern, I cannot recommend the anti pilling bamboo acrylic blend from Premier Yarn enough!!! The softness that bamboo gives this yarn as well as a luxe sheen, keeps it lighter than pure acrylic and how refreshing to have a cardigan that WILL NOT PILL UP ????? It is meant for washing and gets even softer after laundering.
Another bonus is the fact that the colorways are all three colors blended, it hides things like pet hair and gives dimension to colors in a very subtle way. It’s affordable too at just $4.99 a skein as the everyday price (2025 pricing).
