Learn the single crochet mesh stitch pattern
Learn to make crochet kitchen towel with stripes using a free crochet pattern.

I have wanted to make something using the single crochet mesh stitch for quite a long time and here it is, the coastal stripe crochet towel. If you love the look of the classic navy and white, don’t let dark yarn scare you. Using something like this neck lamp makes easy work of dark yarn stitching.

What is a crochet mesh stitch?
A mesh stitch can take the form of any stitch that creates an opening, usually we see it with a chain one or chain two space. You can see in these examples of my designs there are a variety of stitch combinations that create either a lacy look or a true mesh look with evenly open spaces in your stitches.
