A self-paced crochet pattern for a cozy holiday colorblock blanket — perfect for gifting or keeping.

The Winter’s Embrace Colorblock blanket is the cornerstone of the home collection for the holiday season.
Originally designed to be worked as a CAL in sections, you can follow along section by section with the full color grid tracker and video tutorial as you make this modern-day masterpiece. This blanket will measure approximately 50 x 62″ when completed – a stardard throw. Perfect for a full size sofa or full – queen bed to display when not in use.
Get creative and try making it with your own blend of colors to use year round.
The matching pillow pattern is also available here or you can buy both patterns to work on your home set.
The blanket is designed thoughtfully with color sections using just one skein of a 7 ounce value type yarn so you aren’t left with a bunch of scrap yarn at the end. Together, we will work up the blanket using nearly every inch! I show you how to get your clean crisp colorblocks as you work a simple meditative stitch.
To make this you will need :

10 skeins of yarn (I have a full brand and color name guide in the pattern, so no guessing and you can order online all at once), one of each color, and two each of the palest pink and white/off white center section.
a 7 mm crochet hook
scissors
two stitch markers and a tapestry needle.
This is a big 16 page pattern because of the color guide and check off color tracker and a few written instructional pages. I go over each page with you in the tutorial so you are set up for success!
