Create a stunning spiral crochet hat with this knit-look beanie pattern! Designed for warmth and style, this winter hat works beautifully with gradient yarn, enhancing its elegant texture.
The beautiful knit stitches in knit hat patterns inspired me to design this hat for makers who only crochet. This is a meditative fun stitch to work. It is worked in a continuous round so you will simply keep track of the measurement rather than have to stop to count rounds.
The pattern is easy to follow and includes multiple sizes from child to adult med and adult large. Pattern is worked from brim up and is suited to comfortable to experienced beginners. This is not suitable for first-time hat makers.
Video tutorial helps you follow the PDF written pattern (also includes images for perfect hook placement).
For this pattern, I used roving yarn and list brands you can choose from and an option for non roving yarns (it’s a difficult yarn to frog but has a gorgeous handmade elegant finish).
There are also links to tags and faux fur pouf, used if you like the look of the finishing items shown in the images.
Perfect for handmade gifts, craft fairs, or adding to your own winter wardrobe, this crochet hat is both stylish and cozy.
